HOW DO I INSTALL?

HOW LONG CAN THE FOG PROTECT?
Flashfog protects for at least 30 minutes. The fog is stable up to 45 minutes.
An optional timer allows re-firing. However, note that after about two hours you will start to get tiny droplets deposited onto flat horizontal glass surfaces. Factory defaults are for a single activation, which will not cause deposition.
Any fog fluid deposition is easily wiped with a wet towel.
JUST HOW CLEAN IS IT?
In our 26 years, we have excelled in these tough cases, with flying colors:
- Tobacco: Does not change taste or smell of cigarettes, cigars, even if out of the pack. In fact tobacco and cannabis security is one of our specialties.
- Fur coats: No smells
- Nuclear reactors: We protect those too (USA), and these folks really tested the fog, then tested again. Safe.

CAN I DISARM WITH A KEY FOB?
Yes, this can be setup by your alarm installer. He can also make it so that arming your regular alarm automatically arms your fog security.
If you go with the AJAX™ installation option, you simply order a compatible keyfob module and plug it into your Ajax hub.
CAN I CONFIRM IT'S A REAL BREAK-IN?
To avoid false alarms, FlashFogs can use a second signal, from an alarm sensor directly connected to the FlashFog. This means security fog only protects when both security sensors go off simultaneously. Note: In smash & grab burglary, speed is the name of the game, so we actually don't recommend this option.
We recommend following the well-developed guidelines from FARA (False alarm reduction association) to tackle the false alarm problem head-on. They have specifically looked at security fog, and know it works well within the framework of electronic alarm dispatch.

For easy identification, the fog smells citrusy. The smell does not linger.

YOU WON'T RUN OUT
Fluid levels are permanently monitored and the security fogger lets you know if it's running out.
IT'S NOT A PRINTER
It's cheap to run. The fluid only needs replacing every three years, unless of course the bandits try to break-in. FlashFog only needs about 50 watts (small model).
YOU ONLY USE A FRACTION
Most users get at least four full security activations per fluid charge. Depending on sizing, you get between two and eight activations per charge.
